Idéklinikken (Idea Clinic) is an innovation unit in North Jutland which purpose is to collect good ideas within the health care field. Welfare Tech is a national cluster in Denmark. It is a hub for innovation and business development in healthcare, homecare and social services, striving to promote business opportunities and collaboration between members and business partners from the private industry, public organisations, and research and education institutions.

Aalborg University participates in international cooperation with educational and research institutions, business companies of different sizes, other institutions and various networks all around the world.

University of Southern Denmark’s cooperation with businesses, investors and various external parties is a pivotal instrument to finance, disseminate and improve research at the university.

Aalborg University Hospital is the Region og North Denmark’s main hospital. The hospital includes the divisions South and North in Aalborg, division in Dronninglund and special departments in Hjørring, Hobro Farsø, Frederikshavn and Thy-Mors. As the region’s largest hospital, Aalborg University Hospital plays a central role in the cooperation in Northern Jutland health care, but it also marks itself on the national and international level.

Hvidovre Hospital is part of the Capital Region of Denmark. It is a university hospital with approx 1,300 students per. years. The hospital has 567 beds. In 2013 it is expected to have 65,000 admissions and 314,000 outpatient visits.

Odense University hospital is a part of the Region of Southern Denmark. University Hospital of Odense and Svendborg Hospital treats patients from Funen for a number of common diseases. At the University Hospital in Odense patients from the rest of Denmark are treated and in some cases patients from abroad for complex diseases. The University Hospital has 1,115 beds and had 1,025,000 outpatient treatments in 2011.

Hospital of Himmerland The Hospital of Himmerland is part of the Region of Northern Denmark and is placed at two locations: in Farsø and Hobro. The hospital has 98 medical and palliative beds and had 7,122 admissions and 35,504 outpatient treatments in 2012. The Hospital of Himmerland also has the following wards from Aalborg University Hospital: Orthopaedic Surgery, Surgery and Anaesthesiology South.

Hospital Thy-Mors is a part of the Region of Northern Denmark. The hospital handles the majority of basic treatments for the people of Thy Mors, Hanherred and parts of Salling. Thy-Mors Hospital has 144 beds and had 11,766 admissions, 64,026 outpatient visits and 5,342 operations in 2012. Thy-Mors Hospital has 2 sections – section Nykøbing M with daily functions and section Thisted with acute and planned features and wards. The hospital holds a ward and an outpatient under the ”Clinic Main Orto” at Aalborg University Hospital.

Healthcare Denmark is an international frontrunner in the field of healthcare, and Healthcare DENMARK supports this leading position by promoting Danish visibility internationally.

Healthcare DENMARK coordinates delegation visits for foreign decision makers and press delegations to Denmark, where they can experience Danish healthcare solutions in practice and meet the people behind; all part of an extensive network of companies and other actors in the area of healthcare, dedicated to promoting best practices. Healthcare DENMARK participates in delegations, conferences and exhibitions both nationally and internationally to support and strengthen Danish interests.

RoboCluster is a Danish innovation network that brings together competences and experts within robotics, automation and intelligent systems. The network consists of research and educational institutions specializing in robotics and automation technologies as well as developers, suppliers and end-users in the robotic industry. Through matchmaking, dissemination activities, project management and topic specific events RoboCluster aims at strengthening the Danish and the European development as well as innovative use of robotics and automation technologies.

SCM.dk – forum for management of the supply chain – Denmark’s only business community – a community with dedicated focus on the optimization of the supply chain.

Welfare Tech is a market-driven cluster for development, deployment and implementation of welfare technologies within welfare and social care. Members in Welfare Tech is through public / private business development, knowledge sharing and interdisciplinary collaboration working on developing new technologies and products that can increase quality and productivity in public services, while creating new jobs and export opportunities in the private sector.

Intelligent Logistics Network is specifically dedicated to companies that develop, produce or deliver intelligent logistics solutions. Furthermore the network addresses researchers and teachers from research and educational institutions dealing with intelligent logistics solutions.

SESAM unify all activities relating to information exchange in automation and interconnection of production equipment. SESAM is a network of more than 145 customers, suppliers, consultants etc. within automation.SESAM has three focus areas:

• Dissemination of information on automation technologies.
• Description and construction of knowledge of good automation practices in the food industry. This activity is known as SESAM-FOOD and GAPP.
• Preparation of a project and document management for the implementation of automation projects.

SESAM-FOOD is a subgroup of the Secretariat of the interconnection of production equipment (SESAM) and dealing with good automation practices in the food industry.

BrainsBusiness – ICTNORCOM Business members are both small and large businesses, research and knowledge institutions and public actors. The Network’s purpose is to strengthen cooperation between all who are engaged in ICT (information and communications technology) in North Jutland, and making the region’s multiple ICT skills more visible to the outside world.

Institut for Selskabsledelse is a network for directors and act as facilitator for a series of executive networking groups consisting of 999 CEOs and business leaders. The members in Executive Network Group receive coaching and exchange of experience at top level and a number of topical presentations from the absolute elite of senior managers in Danish companies. IS also has network groups in Norway, Sweden, England and Holland.

Network4Service is a network for service managers in large Danish industry companies.

effektivitet.dk is a network where members share knowledge about development and operations, manufacturing, supply chain management and operational excellence – from courses in networking groups and various professional forums.

Javagruppen is a network for sharing experiences. At meetings members exchange experiences and presents different solutions among the Java Group members.

Aarhus .NET User Group(ANUG) is a group interested in Microsoft.NET. and aims to help developers to exploit .NET technology completely by insight of the real-life scenarios and projects.
