Intelligent Systems will participate in a network meeting at Grundfos on future
requirements for automation. The meeting takes place on 11th November and will
focus on automation and sustainability now and in the future. Contributors
include Grundfos and Professor Ole Madsen, Aalborg University. In cooperation
with Grundfos Ole Madsen has studied future demands for automation towards 2020.
The organizer of the network meeting is
SupplyNet,
a network of suppliers of robotic technology solutions.

At the conference on knowledge transfer at Aalborg University on 4th October
CEO Niki Grigoriou is an invited speaker. The Conference is focused on
using and strengthening bridges for knowledge transfer, so businesses
can get better access to the knowledge within academia. In
Niki's presentation he will make suggestions on collaboration between
businesses and academia, and on creating synergies between research
and business to stimulate innovation and growth.
Among the other speakers are Minister of Science, Charlotte Sahl-Madsen,

Intelligent Systems
has partnered with Jens Neustrup Simonsen from
Konsulenthuset FREMTIDEN.
Jens' job is to help making the sales process at Intelligent Systems more
efficient, partly by strengthening the sales skills in Intelligent Systems
and working with customer and market strategies.
The cooperation is expected to yield a stronger and more focused sales strategy
with a goal of having 5 major customers in 3 different markets by 2012.
Jens Neustrup Simonsen is director and co-owner of Konsulenthuset FREMTIDEN
and co-owner of the sister company Business Institute.
Jens has a large experience in sparring and development of corporate sales
organization through many years of work in strategy development and
organizational development.

On January 28 Intelligent Systems
hosts a network event in the Intelligent Logistik Network.
The Intelligent Logistik Network
is a network in Northern Jutland consisting of companies that
develop, manufacture or deliver intelligent logistics solutions and of
researchers and educators from research and educational institutions dealing
with intelligent logistics.
The purpose of Intelligent Logistics Network is to create business opportunities,
to strengthen knowledge cooperation, to make joint marketing creating awareness
of the network and its competence, to improve workforce qualifications within
intelligent logistics, and over time to become a voice for influencing political
decision-making, all of this based on the cluster of businesses and knowledge
within automation and logistics that is concentrated in the northern part of Jutland.
Intelligent Systems is one of the initiators behind the Intelligent Logistics Network.

participated at the annual JAOO conference in Aarhus October 5th-7th. JAOO has
more than 1400 participants and offers presentations from internationally
acclaimed speakers from the software industry.
Intelligent Systems participates at the JAOO conference to gain new knowledge
and inspiration in software development and to see new trends within software.

project manager/project coordinator for the project department.
The position, previously held by Lars Haunstrup Andersen, is open after
he was headhunted to become a leading software architect and project manager
at a larger software company.

Intelligent Systems has decided to gather its forces by
moving the employees at the company's Århus office to the
main office in Hadsund, effective of August 1. The aim
of the move is to improve efficiency and the ability to
deliver the high quality that is the hallmark
of Intelligent Systems. "We have been very pleased with the
office at
INCUBA Science Park in Katrinebjerg. It is an excellent
place. But having only two consultants permanently based
there, the costs are too high in comparison to the gains of
gathering everyone in Hadsund. However, we are not ruling
out the possibility of returning to Århus at a later time,
if this would once again provide sufficient value to us,"
says CEO Niki Nicolas Grigoriou.

is strengthening its project skills and competency
development as part of the strategy to maintain and extend its high
level of quality.
Intelligent Systems has decided to launch a wide-scale development
project to strengthen its project skills and competencies. In the
process, the company plans to develop a project model, which unites
project standards from industrial automation with elements from agile
methodologies such as LEAN and SCRUM. In addition, Intelligent Systems
is working to improve methods for quality assurance of the competency
development within the company.

Jacob Lundholm is leaving
Intelligent Systems and Denmark for the benefit of a journey around
the World for the next year. Jacob leaves on September 1, and we wish

Employees at
Intelligent Systems earn a
share in the company's success. The Jutland-based software company
has introduced a bonus system designed to distribute part of its
profit among employees. As a result, employees who have been with
the company for all of 2007 have been awarded a cash bonus equivalent
to two months' salary.

Intelligent Systems has hired two additional
consultants as of 1 June. The consultants are
Poul Krogh and
Lars Aalkjær Jensen who will be
based at Intelligent Systems' office in Aarhus.
Poul Krogh has more than 18 years' experience as a developer
and software architect. He has formerly worked for
IPH Automation (later aquired by
Danfoss and today a part of
Emerson),
Lego,
Infor and
AutIQ. Poul has among others worked with product development
and software for automation, 3D visualization and
expert systems.
Lars Aalkjær Jensen comes from a position as Research
Assistant at Aarhus University, Danish Institute of
Agricultural Sciences, where he has worked with
automation and system technology in agriculture. Lars
has developed software for data acquisition and control
of watering and fertilizing robots and was involved
in the
Hortibot project.

Mariagerfjord Kommune
- payed a visit to
Intelligent Systems
together with students from
Aalborg University. The occasion was that
Mariagerfjord Erhvervsråd had
turned on the charm to promote the area around
Mariagerfjord and its companies.
Intelligent Systems was one of the chosen companies
to receive a visit.

JAOO is one of the biggest software conferences in Europe with app. 1200 participants

The software company
Intelligent Systems has ended the first finasial year. The result after taxes
is DKr. 546.029 and for the first year it is a very satisfying result for the small
newly established company. The first year is even just a period of 10 months.

Ole Høgh Jensen. Ole comes from Aalborg Universitet, where he has worked
as researcher and teacher in
Department of computer science.
Ole has in his recearch focused on mathematical modelling and verification of
concurrent systems.

as responsible for marketing and administration. Maica has earlier worked in

His name is Jacob Lundholm, and just like Thorkild Petersen he was also employeed by
Dator , FKI Logistex and latest at Logimatic. Jacob has more than 10 years of
experience with development of software and systems for logistics and industrial

October 1st - 6th the entire staff of
Intelligent Systems attended JAOO the 2006-conference
in Aarhus.
This year the JAOO-conference was held for the 10th straight. With more than 1000
participants from more than 25 countries JAOO is one of Europe's largest software and
development conferences.

Oct. 1st Intelligent Systems took over the building
Oestre Allé 16 i Hadsund. Until that time the building was housing
Kjaerulff Design and before that time it was drawing office of the architect
company J. K. Soerensen.

from June this year till yearend 2007. co-operation specifies terms and conditions of
