Intelligent Systems and fellow project partners in the Advanced Manufacturing Management Platform (AMMP) project recently had insightful visits and workshops at Stellantis and BEKO Europe. The visits provided a valuable opportunity to see manufacturing in action, analyze and explore AMMP’s possibilities for improving productivity and reliability in production. The Advanced Manufacturing Management Platform (AMMP) project is set to boost the European manufacturing industry by fully embracing the Smart Manufacturing paradigm.

The visits to Stellantis Trnava plant in Slovakia and the Melano BEKO factory in Italy included insightful tours around the facilities and workshops that delved into identifying requirements and establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the development project thus aiming for a cutting-edge solution for factory asset management and analysis. The core aim of AMMP is to make automation and robotics “plug-and-play, vendor-independent, and easy to use” through intuitive configuration and no-code programming, ultimately driving efficiency and innovation in manufacturing processes across Europe.
